The Titans and Protector help a group of kids overcome their drug problem. Speedy talks about his addictions.
This version of the comic was sold through comic shops for one dollar. This comic was initially produced as a giveaway for the Keebler company; see The New Teen Titans [Keebler Company] (DC, 1983 series) https://www.comics.org/issue/85679/. The content is the same except for the cover (the price and the blurb at the bottom). DC didn't realize it couldn't use the character of Robin until after the material for this issue was completed (Robin was licensed by Keebler's rival Nabisco) and Dick Giordano had to re-do all the Robin figures as the Protector, though the character is still directing the team and acting as if he were Robin. (Note added by Anthony Durrant via the GCD Error Tracker, May 2010.) On-sale date from The Comic Reader #212.
