  • The Top TV Comic Stars Come from DC - House ad for the television shows Batman (ABC), The Adventures of Superman (syndicated), the New Adventures of Superman (CBS), and the Broadway musical "It's a Bird... It's a Plane... It's Superman". Black and white ad located inside front cover.
  • I Knew the Unknown Soldier! - Credits for script, pencils and inks confirmed from Julius Schwartz's editorial records, provided by DC Comics. Schwartz kept editorial records for Robert Kanigher, who edited this issue. Story in two parts of 5.67 and 8.67 pages.
  • Said a Cat Suffocating in Squaresville - House ad for DC comics, promoting the "go-go checks" cover design, and written in limerick form.
