John Stewart pushes his way past Hal Jordan as the other characters look on.

John Stewart averts a catastrophic dam break caused by Major Disaster, and captures him. Meanwhile, Bruce Gordon is receiving threatening messages and Hal Jordan has ruined his friendship with Tom Kalmaku and is having second thoughts about not being a Green Lantern.

Yron underestimates the Krydos and they kill him, but his last dying act is to bring back Stel to life, whereupon Stel retrieves his power ring and defeats the Krydos.
