Lord Satanis and Syrene battle, with Satanis using the body of a copy of Superman with his invulnerability and heat vision. The previously-thought-dead Clark Kent returns to life. Superman tracks down Rip Hunter to get his help in time-traveling to the past. Lord Satanis seems to defeat Syrene, but that's when the other Superman arrives.

Aquaman and Mera battle V'Lana, who wants to take over Xebel. They stop her, and along the way we learn that Mera can now return to Earth without dying.
