The Spectre 2001 #19 - back issue

The Spectre temporarily destroys Darkseid while rescuing a girl on Apokolips, but Darkseid is reconstituted by another power (perhaps The Source). The Spectre then learns why the universe needs Darkseid, during a visit to the Source, after which a part of The Spectre remains in The Promethean Wall.

• The Equations of Light and Darkness - The Source is manifested to The Spectre as Appa Ali Apsa and the Central Power Battery on Oa.
• - Letters of comment from readers George Gatewood, Richey, and J. H. Peers III. Miniature preview of next issue's cover art.
