The Fantastic Four is searching for the runaway Human Torch.

Fleeing the Thing, the runaway Human Torch finds the amnesiac Sub-Mariner.

The Human Torch drops the Sub-Mariner into the sea and he regains his memory.

The Sub-Mariner sends Giganto to smash New York.

The Thing walks into Giganto with a bomb and blows him up. The Human Torch sweeps the Sub-Mariner and Giganto away into the sea. The Sub-Mariner says "I'll be back!"

Doctor Strange is called on by a man having bad dreams, and confronts Nightmare. The man?s dreams reveal that he is guilty of fraud and Strange makes him confess.

An alien race watches humanity's progress, worried that they will one day overtake them. With the invention of the atomic bomb and the Cold War, they decide that humanity will wipe itself out before it poses a threat.

The military captures Rick and Ross convinces him that they need the Hulk to test a new experimental rocket for national security. Rick tricks the jade giant into the capsule but once it is shot into space, he realizes that Ross deceived him to get rid of his foe. Rick overrides the programming and returns the rocket to earth but not before Banner (he transformed back to his human form when the rocket came into view of the sun) is doused with further radiation. The Hulk is now unable to revert to his human form and is under Rick's control but only while Rick remains awake.
