On-sale date from 1972 Periodicals, Copyright Office, Library of Congress with a correction factor of plus 28 days. There are many copies with a cover with a printing error. The printing error was not static, it changed through the print run. The apex of the error resulted in an area which was to be red was instead yellow. An example of the apex print error can be viewed here: https://www.comics.org/changeset/111588/compare/?collapse=1. The British copies have only been found with the apex error.
